Aalaae Ahmed has always had a keen interest in employing research-based methods to break the chains of cyclical poverty. It is no surprise, therefore, that education, a key element of this struggle, was her field of choice. Her journey through the education world strengthened her resolve to be part of other organizations and efforts to attack this issue from all fronts.

With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from one of the nation's top-ranked universities and a strong analytical background, Aalaae has always sought out ways to exercise her creative muscle through her volunteer work with these charitable organizations. Contributing to One Ummah Foundation as the Media Content Manager/Lead Graphics Designer was, therefore, a perfect fit.

OUF's work has inspired Aalaae to get involved more directly with humanitarian efforts. In the future, she hopes to combine her creative and analytic skill set to contribute personally to this cause.
