One Ummah Foundation (OUF) is pleased to announce the sponsorship of the ‘Help a Child Learn’ project as part of its Education Projects. This project will assist under-privileged and financially poor children/orphans with their annual school fees payments in Hyderabad, India.

 

Objective:

To provide an education opportunity to the needy and deprived children of the society a chance to brighten their future and fulfill their dreams

 

Goal of the Project:

Help financially strapped families continue to send their children to school for academic education Scope: Last year, this program served 175+ students and we intend to expand to 400+ students this year.

 

In order to ensure the funds reach the most deserving students, we take applications from the needy children along with a copy of the performance report from the previous year. We also cross check the performance of the children from their respective schools. We also enquire about the financial status of the parents and their living standard. In order to cater to the needs of as many needy students as possible, we co-ordinate with the local schools to contribute in this noble cause. Local schools contribute anywhere between 10-50% by way of fee discounts. We also limit no. of students from a single family to spread the spectrum of beneficiaries. We also encourage and help in some cases to apply for governmental education aid.
