One Ummah Foundation (OUF) is proud to be associated with Idara Al Khair and its education projects in Kachra Kundi. This project will assist under-privileged and financially poor children/orphans with their annual school fees payments in Hyderabad, India.

 

Objective:

To eliminate child labor by breaking the cycle of illiteracy and poverty in the garbage dumps of Karachi (Kachra Kundi)

 

Goal of the Project:

Provide hope and light of education to the most under-privileged kids living in the slums and working in the garbage dumps, and make them proud contributors to the society.

 

In 2013, 500 kids supported directly and another 2500 indirectly benefited from our support.

 

In 2014, One Ummah Foundation started to partner with Thaakat Foundation (and its Dreams for Kachra Kundi project which had similar goals) to maximize our impact in Kachra Kundi schools and achieve our objective quicker.
